One of our great supporters, the amazing Mr. David Yaron, due to personal issues reduced dramatically his monthly support of the shelter from $20,000 to $1,000 only. This monthly support of David was one of the major reasons why we were able to survive and keep on doing our work for the animals.

This year, even more than in previous years, we’re seeing a big increase in dogs and cats that are thrown at the shelter (many of these new dogs and cats are currently living in our offices, garage, and small toilet cubicles in hard conditions).

The locals have an old custom here, they give small dogs as holiday gifts and throw the older dogs out of the house (the small ones they buy now, once they grow up, will also be replaced with younger ones).

Besides that, Facebook decided with no actual reason to limit half of our ads and as a result we’re facing a dramatical reduction of the number of donations we have received in the last 2 weeks (if we’ll not cover the loan we had to take 17 years ago, we can be evacuated from the property).

And now, we have a great opportunity as Eduard Walker from Seatle who supported us in the past agreed to 4X match all the donations we’ll receive in 2022 if we’ll raise $10,000 ourselves. Please help, even $5 or $10 can make a difference now 🙏🏻
